Our slogan

“Working up to a standard and not down to a price.”

Mototec Swakopmund has been operating since 1994 and is owned by Dian Van de Merwe. The workshop at 43 Manduma Ya Ndemufayo Street, Swakopmund covers panel beating and spray painting, rustproofing and VPS paint protection, wheel alignment, and vehicle recovery, including from remote areas.

The slogan describes how the work is done: understand the damage properly, repair it with care, and prepare every surface so the finish is right. A commitment to quality, and to customers who are satisfied with the result, sits at the heart of how the workshop works.

From the reception area to the repair workshop itself, the aim is a consistent, professional experience from the moment you arrive to the moment your repaired vehicle is handed back.

The workshop

Where the detail work happens.

Body repair is patient work: measuring, shaping, preparing and checking again. The workshop is set up so each stage gets the attention it needs.

Craftsmanship

What you can expect.

  1. Assessment before anything else

Every repair starts by understanding the damage properly, so the quote reflects the work the vehicle actually needs.

  2. Preparation is most of the finish

Careful preparation of every repaired surface is what lets new paint sit naturally with the rest of the vehicle.

  3. An open workshop

Customers are welcome in the workshop and are invited to see the stages of their repair and the delivery process.

  4. Clear communication

The team aims to keep you informed, from the first conversation about the damage to the moment you collect your vehicle.
